Overspeed in limp home mode (Code 2.3.6, PID 190)

Possible reason:

• Engine goes to limp home speed.

• The engine speed is or has been higher than the permissible.

Reaction:

GE: Engine is shutdown. A fault code is generated.

Action:

• Check the control rod for injection pump.

• Check / change the actuator.

• Check the sensor cable for breaks and short circuits.

• Check the number of teeth on the camshaft wheel.
